Sales Strategy for Startups [Video]

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to spend some time with the folks at CriticalMass in Cambridge, MA. It's a start-up space and community for early stage entrepreneurs – my favorite kind of people!

The audience was smart, passionate business owners who wanted to start framing how they should think about sales. Don’t forget there is a difference between having a vision and then knowing how to execute from a sales perspective.

I thought I'd share the talk with you in a new format we are trying out (combined PowerPoint, video & cartoon). I hope you find it (just under 6 mins) interesting.

A very clever and engaging presentation Trish, and as usual, an excellent paint-by-number guideline. The devil is really in the detail though, and each one of the points made requires a lot of work and effort to get the final picture ready for the Louvre - ie, a masterpiece called "The Successful Sales Process"....:>)  
 
btw, how long did it take to produce this, if you don't mind sharing.

Thanks, Bob. I produced if for Trish, here is the rough breakdown: 
 
- Recording audio: 1hr 
- Editing audio into one mp3: 2hrs 
- Creating the powtoon: ~7hrs 
 
Powtoon is still in BETA and documentation is thin. So knowing what not to do will *dramatically* cut the production time for video #2.

@Carla - You busted me! I had an audio flub on #4 and had to scrub it from the video.
